Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress who is known for her well acting. She is one of the most popular actresses in B-town and she also won three Filmfare Awards.

Deepika padukone was born on 5^th January 1986 in Copenhagen. She is the daughter of badminton player Prakash Padukone. She also used to play badminton and took participates in national level championships but she was more interested in modeling that is why she left her sports career to become a fashion model. She had done her acting debut in 2006 as the titular character of the kannada movie Aishwarya. After that she moved into bollywood and played dual roles in her first movie “Om Shanti Om” and won the Filmfare Award for Best Female debut. After this movie she has received a huge fan following and loved from people.

Before starting her career in bollywood, Padukone gained recognition with television ad for Limca, Close-up, Kingfisher, Liril soap and many more. She also did modeling for various brands and products.

Apart from Deepika Padukone’s acting career, she also participates in stage shows and has supported charitable organization. Also she has written columns for an Indian newspaper. She had begun her line of clothing in 2013 and launched The Line Love Laugh Foundation for creating awareness on mental health in India.
